Depression, Anxiety and Fatigue in Diabetics

As a diabetic, do you frequently feel tired with no interest in daily activities? This is common in many patients. The condition is frequently accompanied by insomnia and depression. Sleep is an important factor in controlling diabetes. Regardless of medication, exercise and diet managing depression, anxiety and fatigue are just as important in its regulation.

Some methods used in controlling depression, anxiety and fatigue include deep breathing, stretching and sleep. Chamomile tea is a great sleep aid and tension reliever. Remember to try going to bed at the same time each night in a quiet, cool and dark room. Alcohol, caffeine and tobacco should be avoided.
