Making Myself Feel Better Too Soon
Well, I began walking 10,000 steps per day last week and managed to complete the task for 4 days consecutively, then reality set in. My feet felt like painful jelly. My body was fine, calves a little distressed however I was okay. At this point my research began. I was consumed in methods to end this distress in my feet. My information led me to things like soaking, changing shoes, using insoles as well as some other method of tying shoes. After reading all this I stumbled on an article stating that the 10,000 step challenge cannot be embarked upon too swiftly. I am exercising in my home 30 minutes daily while still mending. Hopefully my walks will resume soon. I will begin with 4500 steps daily and will add 1000 steps per day each week until I reach 10,000.
