Dealing with Covid and Ear Infection

As a 71 year old woman with both covid and ear infections, unique challenges were presented. Common symptoms included cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, sore throat and loss of taste or smell. Being an older adult other problems could have been experienced. Having diabetes and hypertension increased this risk. Ear infections can lead to hearing loss, dizziness or balance problems. Dizziness and balance problems were among my complications. It is important to consult healthcare providers if these conditions are experienced. Staying hydrated, taking prescribed medication and resting does contribute to complete recovery.
